About Us
Be Amazing began in the Central Wisconsin area in May of 2017 when a class of fifth graders and their teacher developed several community service projects. These projects were a way for the students to move forward in a positive manner following a local act of violence that killed four innocent people. The students wanted to demonstrate that we live in an amazing and resilient community.
The ripple effects of these kind acts led to the formation of Be Amazing, a non profit 501c3 organization. Since its inception, the organization's goals have been to encourage and recognize acts of kindness, support community service projects and promote positivity.
Youth involvement is a large component of our organization. Currently there are 15 school-based Be Amazing clubs within the Central Wisconsin area. Each club has its own plan for random acts of kindness and community service projects that they complete during the school year.
The Be Amazing Fund was established to provide monetary support for people and/or groups of all ages wanting to make such a difference.

Fourteen year old Max Koepke was an aspiring musician in March of 2017. Following an act of violence in our community, he was inspired to compose a song in collaboration with the newly formed Be Amazing organization. His words are a beautiful message to us all that, in times of trouble, we have the power to come together to inspire others and make things right!
